The Graduates Return
In June of 2025 the graduating class of 2025 who had once attended Wake Forest Elementary returned for a parade!
Book Reading and Gift of Reading
Page 158 books partnered with the WFES Foundation to provide funding that provided two projects
1. Book Reading - where each student in grades 3-5 received a copy of the book Tristan Strong Punches a Hole in the Sky by Kwame Mbalia in 2020
2. Gift of Reading - each child was given the opportunity to pick a book to take home and keep forever in 2023
100 Year Anniversary Celebration
In March of 2023 we had our first fundraiser at the Wake Forest Birth Place to celebrate 100 years of a school on the current site of Wake Forest Elementary School.
100 Year Birthday Bash
In November of 2023 the Foundation and PTA hosted a Birthday Bash at the school to celebrate with staff, students and parents. We even had cake!!
